A MAN has been fined after displaying threatening behaviour and assaulting a man in Northwich.
Gary Bailey, of Belmont Road in the town, appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on November 18.
The court heard on October 12 of this year, the 58-year-old ‘used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress’.
On the same day, Bailey assaulted a man.
Taking his guilty plea into account, magistrates fined Bailey £80, on top of a court bill including £120 in court costs and a £64 surcharge.
As part of his sentence, Bailey will need to comply with up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
