SANTA and his helpers will be swapping their sledge for a narrowboat this year as the Canal and River Trust's much-loved Santa Cruises return to the Weaver.
The festive boat trips are aimed at children and families and will include an opportunity to meet Santa and his helpers for a ‘Santa selfie’.
As well as meeting the man himself, there will be plenty of time for games, songs, stories, and of course, gifts for the children.
The cruises begin at 11am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm and are available to book from Saturday, December 3, to Saturday, December 24.
Tickets are £12.50 per passenger, £4.00 for under one-year-olds.
Voyagers should meet at the coffee shop at the Anderton Boat Lift where Santa will come to collect them himself and escort them down to the narrowboat.
And adults will get to join in on the fun too.
Adults will get a free tea or coffee and a mince pie as part of the ticket price.
Those with more of an appetite can also order breakfast or lunch at the coffee shop at a discounted price when they order their tickets.
