HERE is everything you need to know about Christmas activities at Barons Quay this year.

Barons Quay is bringing some seasonal magic to Northwich with a magical Winter Wonderland lights trail, Christmas movie party, Santa’s grotto, festive crafts and community choirs.

The Winter Wonderland lights trail will feature four large light installations that visitors can interact with, including snow arches, an igloo, a giant snowman and an ice throne.

These impressive light displays will be situated throughout the shopping centre and guests are encouraged to visit them all for a chance to win a prize.

An online map will allow children to find all the locations and they can also take part in the online Winter Wonderland Quiz for a chance to win a toy bundle, worth £50 courtesy of The Entertainer toy shop.

For those who love to pose for a festive photo, you can share your pictures of the dazzling light displays, and tag in Barons Quay to take part in their competition.

The best picture will win a £100 gift card for a Barons Quay store of their choice.

The Rotary in Northwich is bringing Santa’s Grotto back to Barons Quay.

This year it will be situated outside H&M, next to the Wildflower Meadow.

Parents can book a slot for their child to meet Santa, who will be in the centre every Saturday from November 26, plus Friday, December 23.

Visits cost £5, with all money collected being distributed to charity partners.

For those with younger children there’s the Barons Quay Kids Club Movie Party on Wednesday, November 30; it will feature live performances from Princess Elsa and her Elf, face-painting and balloon modelling, before a special screening of The Snowman and The Snowdog, which is being shown exclusively at Odeon cinemas this Christmas to mark The Snowman’s 40th anniversary.

On December 10, community choirs will be performing in Barons Square, creating a Christmas atmosphere for shoppers and visitors between 11am and 4pm.

Any community choirs or schools wanting to perform on the day can contact gabrielle@acunningplan.co.uk.

On Saturday, December 17, children can take part in free Christmas crafts between 10am and 4pm.

Crafters will help children make their own clay Christmas tree decoration to take home with them.

A SEND session will take place between 10am-11am in a calm and quiet environment, which parents can book on to via eventbrite.co.uk/e/barons-quay-christmas-crafting-send-session-1-tickets-469247861987 and eventbrite.co.uk/e/copy-of-barons-quay-christmas-crafting-send-session-2-tickets-469261282127

From 11am-4pm activities will take place in the travelator hall, where participants can drop-in throughout the day.

All activities will be launched at The Christmas Extravaganza on Saturday, November 26.

Centre manager, Lina Higuita said: “This year we have everything you need to feel festive, from Santa visits to community choirs, Christmas movies to seasonal crafts!

“The Winter Wonderland lights trail will make every corner of the Centre feel Christmassy.

“We invite you to, literally, get into Christmas by walking through the snow arches, exploring the icy igloo, meeting our giant snowman and posing on the magical ice throne!"
