FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs, possession of a weapon and money laundering after police raided an address in Winsford.
On November 16, officers conducted a warrant at an address in Wharton due to ‘reports of criminality taking place’.
A quantity of cash, drugs and a weapon were seized.
Posting on social media, Winsford Wharton Police said: “Over £2,000 in cash was located, along with drugs and an offensive weapon.
“We've seized the cash under POCA (Proceeds Of Crime).
“On this occasion, four occupants were arrested on suspicion of money laundering, possession of class A drugs, possession of class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
“If you have any information in relation to crime taking place, let us know.
“We rely on members of the community working with us to make Winsford a hostile place for criminals to operate.”
