A NORTHWICH man has been banned from the roads after being caught six times over the drug drive limit.
Peter Griffith, of Albemarle Avenue in Hartford, was in a Peugeot 207 travelling along Lancaster Crescent in the town when he was caught on August 25 earlier this year.
A subsequent blood test revealed the 51-year-old had 299ug/L of Benzoylecgonine - a cocaine breakdown product - in his system. The legal limit is 50ug/L.
Appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on November 11, Griffith pleaded guilty to drug-driving.
Taking his guilty plea into account, magistrates disqualifed him from driving for 12 months.
He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay a further £120 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
