A NORTHWICH woman has been charged with drink-driving after a car hit a police vehicle attending an incident.
Officers had initially been called to Middlewich Road in Rudheath on Sunday evening following reports a 'drunk' man had been seen with a child in a pram.
But while the incident was being dealt with, a passing vehicle clipped a police car and took off its wing mirror.
The driver, a 48-year-old woman, was subsequently taken into custody on suspicion of drink-driving.
Police have since charged Karen Price, of Agecroft Road, Rudheath, with the offence.
She was released on bail and was due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court yesterday (November 14).
