POLICE have made an arrest after a 'drunk' man was seen pushing a child around in a pram.
Officers were called to Middlewich Road in Rudheath at around 8.40pm on Sunday (November 13) following reports of concern for the welfare of a child.
On arriving at the scene, a man, aged 30, was taken into custody on suspicion of being drunk in charge of a child.
A Cheshire Police spokesman confirmed the man has since been released on police bail.
He added: "At 8.40pm on Sunday, November 13, police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a child on Middlewich Road, Northwich.
"The child had been seen in a pram which was being pushed by a man who appeared to be drunk.
"Officers attended and arrested a 30-year-old man for being drunk in charge of a child."
