A WINSFORD man has been banned from the roads for three years after drink-driving through the town.
David McKee, of Wharton Bridge, was caught over the limit while travelling in a Ford Transit van along Redwing Street on October 21.
A subsequent breath test revealed the 37-year-old had 57 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of his breath. The legal limit is 35.
McKee appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on November 9 where he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
Taking his guilty plea into account, magistrates disqualified him from driving for 36 months.
He was also fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £120 and a victim surcharge of £48.
