A 25-YEAR-OLD man will be sentenced for the assault of a woman next month after changing his plea.
Timothy Foster, of Mara Drive in Northwich, originally denied a charge of assault by beating in Chester on May 27 of this year.
But appearing in Chester Magistrates’ Court on November 4, Foster changed his plea to guilty ahead of a trial.
His next court hearing will take place on December 5 at Warrington Magistrates’ Court.
A pre-sentence report will be prepared by the probation service to aid magistrates in choosing what sentence to impose.
