A TEENAGER from Northwich has been fined after carrying an imitation submachine gun in a pub beer garden in Warrington.
Brad Axford, of Foggs Lane in Antrobus, appeared in Warrington Magistrates’ Court on October 25, where he pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm in a public place, as well as the possession of a class A drug.
The 19-year-old was caught with a VZ61 Scorpion BB gun at the Red Lion Pub’s beer garden in Stockton Heath, Warrington, on April 2 of this year.
On the same date, he was caught with 0.73g of methylenedioxymethylamphetamine (MDMA).
Taking Axford’s guilty plea into account, magistrates ordered for the forfeiture and destruction of both the class A drugs and the BB gun.
For both offences, he was fined £100, on top of £120 in court costs.
