A POLICE dog helped police recover a quantity of what are suspected to be class A drugs and drug paraphernalia during a raid in Barnton yesterday, Wednesday.
PD Buddy assisted officers with a drugs warrant and managed to sniff out a white powder which has been sent for testing, Cheshire Police said.
Although no arrests were made, a woman is set to be interviewed under police caution.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police confirmed: “At around 1.15pm on Wednesday, October 26, officers from Northwich Local Policing Unit executed a drugs warrant at a address on Blackcroft Avenue, Barnton.
“No arrests were made but while searching the address officers recovered a quantity of suspected class A drugs and drug paraphernalia.
“A 39-year-old woman was spoken to the address, and she is set to be interviewed under police caution at a later date."
