TWO lanes were closed on the M6 northbound in Cheshire this afternoon following ‘a multi-vehicle’ crash.
Traffic was queuing with around three miles of congestion - but all lanes have since reopened.
In a Tweet, National Highways previously said:"Lanes one and two are closed on the M6 northbound within junction 17 for Sandbach due to a multi vehicle collision."
Police were also at the scene.
Traffic is now coping well in the area.
