FOUR people are set to face trial charged with affray in Northwich last year.
Darren Meredith, 49, Wayne Meredith, 45, Ng’andwe Mubili, 31, and Isabella Walsh, 18, all appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, October 21, faced with the charge.
Wayne Meredith, of Oak Street; Mubili, of Artisan Way; and Walsh, of Brocklebank Drive (all in Northwich) are alleged to have used or threatened unlawful violence towards another on Chester Road on September 19, 2021.
As well as this charge, Darren Meredith, of Oldham Street in Warrington, is accused of ‘unlawfully and maliciously’ causing grievous bodily harm to a man ‘with intent’.
All four defendants made no indication of plea at Chester Magistrates’ Court.
The case has been sent for trial at Chester Crown Court and will next be heard on November 18.
