POLICE officers joined forces with council officials and partners to check on bouncers working in licensing premises across Northwich.
Operation Yellow Jointly saw a large number of officers, dog handlers and licensing officers from Chester West and Cheshire Council working together last night, Saturday.
Residents reported seeing a large police presence near Winnington Rec at around midnight.

Officials were checking that bouncers working in pubs and clubs had the correct licensing documents.
Posting on social media, Northwich Police said: “Northwich LPU officers have worked in partnership this evening with SIA, CWAC licensing officers and external dog handlers to conduct a successful multi-agency licencing operation #operationyellowjointly.”
SIA is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry in the UK by the compulsory licensing of individuals undertaking designated activities.
