ONE person was rescued following a crash involving a double decker bus and a car.
The major rescue unit from Winsford and fire crews were called to a road traffic collision on Cross Lane in Minshull Vernon.
The incident happened shortly after 5.30pm yesterday evening, Friday.
Police say the collision involved a white Ford Grand C-Max and a double decker bus.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews released one casualty from inside the car, who was then handed into the care of paramedics.”
North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust has confirmed that one casualty was taken to Leighton Hospital with arm/hand injuries.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "There were no reports of any serious injuries."
The road was blocked while recovery was undertaken.
The scene was cleared by 7.15pm.
One fire engine from Winsford and two from Crewe attended the incident.
