TRAFFIC has been stopped on the M6 this afternoon, Thursday, due to a 'multi-vehicle' collision.
Highways England says the accident happened southbound 'within junction 18' for Middlewich and Holmes Chapel.
These scene has since been cleared.
There were six miles of congestion on the approach and delays of more than 30 minutes at its peak.
