A 43-YEAR-OLD man from Winsford who was found with cannabis and drugs paraphernalia has been spared jail.
Shane Boyle, of Alundale Road, appeared in Chester Crown Court on October 17 to be sentenced for one count of possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
The court heard how on March 31, 2021, Boyle was found with a quantity of cannabis.
The drugs are now to be forfeited and destroyed, along with a mobile phone, drugs paraphernalia and a pellet gun.
Recorder Neil Owen-Casey sentenced Boyle to 12 months in prison, but suspended the term for two years.
Boyle must also carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and up to 35 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
