A TEENAGER from Moulton will find out if he is the apprentice of the year at an awards bash today, Wednesday.
Thomas Jackson is one of three finalists in the category for the Cheshire and Warrington leg of the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) North West Learner Awards.
The 17-year-old is carrying out an apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance and repair with Town and Country Motors, in Station Road, and is studying at Mid-Cheshire College, in Hartford.
The winners for each category will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Park Royal Hotel, in Warrington, tonight where the guest of honour will be Falklands hero Simon Weston.
Thomas beat applications from youngsters around the county to get to the final and be within reach of a £250 prize
