A WINSFORD church will open daily for members of the public ahead of holding a special service in memory of The Queen.
St Chad's Over C of E Church, off Swanlow Lane, will be opening its doors between 5pm and 7pm from today, until Saturday, September 17.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, the town and the nation have beenin mourning.
There will be a book of condolence available for visitors to pen a personal tribute. Guests may also take some time for quiet reflection.
On Sunday, September 18, a special service will be held at 6pm in the church 'to remember and give thanks' for the life of The Queen.
The regular service of Holy Communion will take place on Wednesday morning at 10am.
