FEAR not hungry residents of Lostock because the Codfather is set to reopen.
The Manchester Road chip shop closed about four weeks ago, but professional chef Matthew Orange, 33, has stepped into the breach and bought the premesis.
Currently head chef at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club, and a previous sous chef at Manchester Airport, Matthew has decided the time has come to diversify and try his hand at something different.
The Warrington resident said: "My mum and dad had a chippy and so did my ganddad so I thought I might as well try it.
"It is going to be a real back-to-its roots traditional English chip shop."
The chip shop should be reopened by early April.
