CHESHIRE county golfer Imogen Williamson got among the silverware when the English Girls’ Open Strokeplay Championship was staged at Wilmslow Golf Club for the first time in 40 years.
The Delamere Forest Golf Club player finished fourth on -3 and was presented with the Hazards Salver for the best performance by an under 16s player.
A total of 139 under 18s girls from 13 counties took part in this year’s event.
