A NORTHWICH woman has expressed her excitement after gaining a ‘dream’ job with a Canadian jewellery brand as it comes to the UK.
Tocara Jewellery has announced the official appointment of Mhari Oakes - who is originally from Middlewich - as director of business development for the United Kingdom.
Mhari brings 20 years of senior management expertise to Tocara, including the directorship of a PR and marketing company, and more than a decade in direct sales.
Her journey in the jewellery industry first began more than 10 years ago when she started a career with the New York-designed brand Stella and Dot.
Since that time, she has worked corporately for direct sales companies in both the skincare and sports nutrition industries.
Speaking of her new role, Mhari said: “It's an absolute privilege to be part of this venture from the start.
“Most people dream of an opportunity like this - and for me it's real. We will officially launch in the United Kingdom in October.
"We have 40 years of experience in exquisite jewellery, thanks to our founder Randall Markus, and the brand has enjoyed exceptional success in other parts of the world.
“So it fills me with excitement that we are coming from Canada to the UK.”
The brand uses lab-created, sustainable diamonds, helping to protect the planet.
Mhari added: "We are living in an era where times are tough, and we recognise the need to earn extra money to pay the bills and enjoy life.
"My ultimate passion is pathing the way to this solution.”
