THE selection of Davenham's carnival queen, princess, rosebud, fairy queen, fairies, crown bearer and retinue will take place on Saturday.
Entrants must be from Davenham or the immediate area of the village and entrants for the carnival queen section must have taken part in a previous Davenham carnival.
Selection will take place at the Royal British Legion at 2pm, registration at 2.15pm and selection itself starting at 3pm.
