FIRE crews in Northwich were called to a shed fire yesterday, Sunday, which is believed to have been started deliberately.
One fire engine from Northwich was called to Danefield Road shortly after 1.30pm.
Upon arrival, the crew found a fire involving a shed which had spread to a garden fence and trees on.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames and police were informed as, following a fire investigation, it was believed to have been started deliberately.”
Later that day, just after 5.30pm, crews attended Moss Lane where they used a hose reel jet to put out a fire in the open.
