TOM Ford and his sister Emily have been selected to represent Great Britain in the European Rowing Championships.
The siblings from Holmes Chapel, who are both former students of The Grange School in Hartford, Northwich, will feature in events taking place in Munich, Germany, from today, Thursday, until Sunday.
Leander Club’s Tom, who won back-to-back gold medals with the men’s eight at World Rowing Cup I and III earlier this summer, will be joined by his clubmate Sholto Carnegie, Oxford University’s Charlie Elwes and Oxford Brookes’ Rory Gibbs, Morgan Bolding, David Bewicke-Copley, Tom Digby, and cox Harry Brightmore in the eight this time around.
There will also be a GB senior women’s eight for the first time this year with Emily and her pair crewmate Esme Booth doubling up in the bigger boat.
