A WOMAN has been banned from the roads for two years after being caught almost three times over the drink-drive limit.
Carol Eaton's Infiniti Q30 was pulled over in Chester Road, Northwich, on April 17 earlier this year.
A subsequent blood test revealed the 55-year-old, of Maple Grove, Hartford, had 231 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of her blood - the legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
Eaton appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 4, where she pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
Taking into account her guilty plea, magistrates disqualified Eaton from driving for two years, however this could be reduced by six months should she complete a driving course.
The bench also ordered her to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and pay court costs of £85 as well as a £95 victim surcharge.
