A DRUNKEN Audi driver from Northwich led police on a 130-mph motorway chase before losing control and crashing into a concrete bollard.
Paul Kennedy, of Harthill Close, was arrested after he eventually crashed, admitting: “I drove like a d***head and that’s it.
“You are arresting me for being a dangerous driver w****r and I know I am.”
Liverpool Crown Court heard on July 28, it was 'sheer luck' that nobody had been killed or seriously injured due to Kennedy's behaviour, which involved running a red traffic light at 60mph.
He was sentenced to four months imprisonment suspended for 18 months, ordered to carry out 30 days rehabilitation activities and banned from driving for 12 months.

Robert Dalton was travelling in the distinctive vehicle when it was stopped by police between junctions 18 and 19 near Knutsford on October 21 last year.
Officers from Cheshire Police's Roads and Crime Unit searched the vehicle and discovered a large quantity of MDMA tablets with an estimated street value of between £250,000 and £500,000.
Dalton, now 39, was arrested, along with the driver of the vehicle.

A PENSIONER has avoided a spell behind bars after he indecently assaulted a girl more than 50 years ago.
Peter Hardy, who is now 66 and lives in North Wales, assaulted the girl in Wilmslow a total of nine times between 1969 and 1972.
The girl was aged between nine and 11 at the time, while Hardy was himself still a teenager, aged between 14 and 17.
Having initially denied five of those charges when appearing at Stockport Magistrates Court in May of the last year, he later admitted to them all.

Ryan Tuckman, of Saltersbrook Grove, Wilmslow, pleaded not guilty to drug driving at Crewe Magistrates Court on July 28.
The 29-year-old was driving a Honda Accord on Dean Row Road in Wilmslow on June 28, last year, when he was stopped by police.
A subsequent blood test recorded 421 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine, an ingredient of cocaine, in his blood.
