A NORTHWICH woman who was found with cannabis earlier this year has been fined by the courts.

Ebony Walker, of Blake Lane in Cuddington, appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 28 after pleading guilty to the offence.

Magistrates heard Walker was in possession of the controlled class B drug in Northwich on April 30.

The 29-year-old was fined £40 by the court.

She was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £34 surcharge.

The cannabis will be forfeited and destroyed by police.
