THE cost of filling up your tank is at its lowest level for more than two months.
After climbing rapidly for weeks, the pump price for both unleaded and diesel began to level out at the beginning of July.
The reason for the more sensible prices was in part due to the overall cost of oil falling - and now those drops are finally being passed on to customers.
The cheapest place to fill up with petrol on our patch is now 8p a litre cheaper than what it was last week - while diesel is almost 6p less.
According to government figures, the prices across our patch are lower than the national average - which show unleaded at 186.6p per litre and diesel at 195.91p per litre.
For those driving unleaded cars, the cheapest place to fill your tank this week is at its lowest since May 16.
