A CAR overturned and landed on its roof trapping a woman inside.
The crash happened on Westage Lane in Great Budworth, shortly after 4pm on Thursday, July 28.
A silver Hyundai Kona had overturned.
Firefighters rescued a woman in her 70s after she was assessed by paramedics.
A man managed to get out of the vehicle by himself.
Both casualties were taken to Warrington Hospital.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The road was closed in both directions as the crews worked to remove the casualty from the car and hand them over to the paramedics."
Firefighters then made the vehicle safe and handed over the incident to the police.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "The two occupants of the car were treated by paramedics before being taken to Warrington Hospital.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries."
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: "A woman in her 70s suffered non-serious injuries and was taken to hospital."
Three fire engines from Northwich, Lymm and Winsford attended the incident.
