A PLAY based on the ideas of young people growing up in rural areas of Cheshire, and commissioned by the Arts Council Funded Cheshire's Rural Touring Network, will be showing at Sandiway and Cuddington Youth Club next week.
Cross your Heart is a funny, emotional, moving play with live music and songs from Aidan Jolly and participants.
It lifts a curtain on young people's lifestyles raising such questions as: Where do Jo and Louise and Matt go when their parents think they're in school? What do they do? Who's friends with who? Who's going out with who? Who's lying to who? Who's talking? And who's listening?
Created in rural Cheshire with young people, about young people, for young people, by Emmerdale and Holby City TV scriptwriter, Janys Chambers and based on their imaginative ideas and real-life experiences, it takes a long hard look at friendship and families, secrets and lies, love and betrayal.
The play is at the 69ers club in Norley Road, Cuddington, on February 28, starting at 7.30pm.
