A SECOND incident of anti-social behaviour from youths in Kingsmead has been reported to police in the past week, as officers vow to up patrols in the area.
Davenham and Moulton Police posted on social media after youths displayed threatening behaviour to residents – one incident has been captured on video.
Police will now be patrolling parks and play areas and speaking to youths who are spotted there in the evenings.
A statement from a member of the Davenham and Moulton police posted on Facebook reads: “I have been alerted of some anti-social behaviour from youths playing in play areas around the Kingsmead area.
“This behaviour has also resulted in threatening behaviour to residents.
“This is totally unacceptable.
“I have been given some video footage of a male who was threatening the residents and once identified, parents will be notified, and if decided, can be taken further, which is up to the victims.
“Due to this, patrols will be happening around Kingsmead and any youths in parks late in the evening will be spoken to as this is the second issue in the past week.”
