A Northwich woman has appeared in court after attacking another woman in the town as the country celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Courtney Crellin, of Eddisbury Way in Davenham, appeared in Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, July 22, where she pleading guilty to one charge of assault by beating.
The court heard how the incident took place last month in Northwich on Saturday, June 4, over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
After hearing her case, magistrates slapped the 23-year-old with a court bill of more than £300.
The bench fined Crellin £100 for the offence and ordered her to pay £100 in compensation to her victim.
She must also pay £85 in court costs and a £34 surcharge.
