A JUICY burger topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese served with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise – sounds like the perfect fast food.
But what makes a regular burger into something special?
Is it the burger itself or the choice of bun and toppings and sides?
You can put almost anything on top of a burger – fried egg, pulled pork, onion rings - which all add to the overall experience.
Where in Northwich serves the best burgers – restaurants, cafes or takeaway establishments?
In our Best of 2022 campaign, we’ve given out 13 awards so far in Mid Cheshire for hair, nails, beauty, fitness, pubs, beer gardens and independent shop as well as pies, fish and chips, breakfast, afternoon tea, roast dinner and pizza.
Lissie Wright Hair, The Beauty Spot, Sharon Power Fitness, The Lion, The Carriers Inn and The Style Hut together with JD’s Cafe, Winsford Fryer, Oakwood Marina, Poppy Rose Vintage Tearooms, Hartford Hall and Oakwood Smoke and Dough have all been crowned winners in their respective categories.
Voting is currently taking place to find the best place to take children in the area this summer with the closing date midnight on Monday.
This week, we want you to tell us the best place in Northwich to grab a burger and then the overall winner will be decided by you, our readers.
Where is your favourite place to enjoy a burger?
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations close each Monday morning at 12pm.
Then each Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.
You will be able to vote in one of three ways:
- By commenting under the relevant post on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian Facebook pages = 1 vote
- By entering via the online article on our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian websites = 2 votes
- By entering via our Knutsford Guardian, Northwich Guardian and Winsford and Middlewich Guardian newspapers = 5 votes
The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.
They will then be entered into the running for our overall Simply The Best award at the end of the competition.
Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
