Police found the plant growing in a Weaverham garden
POLICE in Weaverham have seized a cannabis plant they found growing in a garden.
Officers posted a photograph of the offending piece of greenery on the Weaver and Cuddington Police Facebook page.
The plant was identified by police while they were out and about on patrol.
The post said the resident would be spoken to about the matter.
"Officers saw a certain 'plant' in a garden today whilst out and about in Weaverham.
"The 'weed' is now in our custody.
"The resident will be spoken to."
