A NORTHWICH man has appeared in court where he has denied a string of offences.
Vincent Parkes, of Cockington Close, is charged with assaulting two police officers and for possession of cocaine.
The 33-year-old was appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on July 20, where he denied a total of four charges.
Parkes is alleged to have committed acts of common assault against both police officers during an incident that took place on February 11 this year.
He has also been charged with failing to provide police with a sample of his blood when he was suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
Parkes was given unconditional bail and will next appear at the same court on November 24 when he will face trial.
He also faces two charges in relation to the alleged mistreatment of six reticulated pythons in his care by not providing them with adequate facilities and sufficient drinking water.
Those matters have been adjourned until August 17.
