POLICE have seized drugs paraphernalia after a group of five youths fled from a patrol at a quarry.
As part of anti-social behaviour awareness week, officers were patrolling near the CEMEX Forest Hill Quarry in Cuddington.
Concerns had been raised by members of the public about anti-social behaviour taking place in the area.
Five male youths ran off from the patrol and left behind the drugs paraphernalia, which was recovered by the police.
It was taken to Northwich LPU and will be scheduled for destruction.
PCSO Michelle Gillet, from the Weaver and Cuddington beat team, said: "SC Cowen and I have patrolled the quarry in Cuddington following anti-social behaviour concerns.
"Five male youths made off on foot leaving behind in location drug paraphernalia.
"All items have been seized and booked into property at Northwich LPU for destruction.
"Both the parish and land owner CEMEX have been made aware."
