FIREFIGHTERS have dealt with a blaze involving trees near the railway line in Northwich.
Crews were dispatched to the scene off Massey Avenue in Hartford shortly after 2pm this afternoon.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze and Scottish Power were notified due to the proximity to overhead power lines.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "A hose reel was used to extinguish trees on fire in Hartford.
"The fire was near to a railway line so Scottish Power were informed to isolate overhead lines.
