A MUCH-LOVED nursery facing closure has played a vital role in the lives of generations of children.
Parents who fought valiantly to save Moulton Nursery School and After-School Club want to say a huge thank you to staff for their care, compassion and commitment.
Nursery owner Louise Pugh has been desperately trying to find a new home as the lease on a building in the grounds of Moulton School, owned by a charity group, ends on August 31.
Despite all their efforts, the nursery is set to close next week.
Mums want to thank the team for their unstinting dedication and devotion.
Staff have looked after children so well, parents say the nursery feels like ‘one big family’.
Helen Stones said: “Louise and her staff have been amazing with my son.
“He was always a quiet little boy. However, he has come in leaps and bounds and skips into the setting every day and always comes out with a smile.
“I genuinely believe that all the staff see the children as an extended family. This isn’t just a job to them.
“They all have a huge amount of compassion, love and kindness and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for my family.
“Louise and the nursery have had a huge impact on the community.
"Thank you to each and every one of you, we will be forever grateful for all your support.”
Kelly Ann Davies said: “Louise and her team are amazing ladies who welcomed us with so much love and nurture for my little one.
“I am a nursery nurse but nothing could prepare me for how hard I’d find it to let my little one take his first independent, confident steps into the big wide world.
“I couldn’t have wished for a more loving, caring team with a manager who really sees everything through both a parent and a child’s eyes.
“Thank you for being such an important part of our lives and not only supporting my four year old but for supporting me too.
“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hold precious memories which can never be taken away.”
Helen added: “The way they are with children is so genuine.
“It is a very special place and we really appreciate everything they have done.
“It meant so much to see my little boy growing up with so much confidence.”
Another mum added: “I want to thank each one of you for your time, kindness and complete dedication you showed my son.
“I knew my little boy was in safe hands and was treated as an individual.
“As a mother I will be forever thankful for this.”
