POLICE are urging drivers to avoid the area of a crash in Northwich this evening.
Officers were dispatched to the scene of the collision between a van and a bike in King Street in Rudheath at around 5pm.
Road closures are in place and traffic is building up in the area while the incident is being dealt with.
A spokesman for the Northwich Local Police Unit tweeted: "Road closures are currently in place on King Street in Rudheath following a collision.
"Traffic is building up and drivers are urged to please avoid the area."

A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision and has been taken to hospital.
