1874 NORTHWICH'S new under 21s management team of Lewis Summer and Kyle Murray were pleased by the turnout when they staged a pre-season trial at Hartford High School on Saturday.

Nearly 20 trialists were put through their paces and it is a promising start to the pre-season campaign for a well-established under 21s team who now begin regular training and preparation for 2022/23.

“We are about to start pre-season and following this successful trial we are likely to bring in a few new

faces to consolidate the squad of good young players we already have," said the management pair.

"We were pleased to see such high skills from all of the trialists. 1874 Northwich under 21s thank them

all for attending. This has been a very positive step in preparation for the season.”
