A NORTHWICH sex offender is set to be sentenced after he used software to conceal his internet search history.
David Wade, of Riverside Park, had been made subject of a sexual harm prevention order by Chester Crown Court on August 20, 2018.
However, the 35-year-old was downloading indecent images of children between December 19 last year and February 1, 2022.
Wade was appearing at Chester Magistrates Court on Thursday, June 30, where he admitted a string of offences.
Among the charges was one of allowing a child to stay at his address between November 16 and December 16, 2021, without notifying the police.
Wade was also found to be in possession of three category C images of children on March 29.
The convicted sex offender also used another device that did not have the internet search history capability enabled between June 9 and September 18, 2021.
Wade has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court on July 29.
