A HISTORIC Northwich pub which dates back as far as the 1700s has reopened following a £400,000 makeover.
Independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co have breathed new life into The Slow & Easy, in Manchester Road, Lostock Gralam.
The pub's interior has been restored to it's former glory following a full redesign of the wrap-around bar and restaurant areas.
'Cosy corners' and 'proper' pub games have been introduced to ensure the pub offers something for everyone.
Taking the helm at the new-look pub is management partner Jeanette Brown, who has more than a decade of experience managing pubs in the area.
Jeanette is excited and confident the revamped Slow & Easy, which opened on June 16, will be the perfect pub for all and plans on wasting no time in firmly instilling it within the heart of the community.
She said: "I cannot wait to welcome guests back into The Slow & Easy.
"It's an amazing pub, and I'm proud to be able to offer such an invaluable local hub to everyone.
"The refurbishment is stunning, and we've already got plenty of events planned to provide fun for all the family.
"We can't wait to open the doors and for our guests to enjoy their new-look pub."
The redesign of the interior has been styled to reflect the pub's traditional charm, relaxed ambience and space to bring the family together for a delicious Sunday Roast.
Senior operations manager Sarah Edmunds said: "We’re so proud to be reopening The Slow & Easy, it’s a magnificent pub that has received a significant investment to ensure it meets all its potential.
"Our new management partner Jeanette brings with her a wealth of pub expertise, local knowledge and the perfect outlook to ensure it appeals to everyone.
"We’re confident she will create a fantastic place for people to come together and enjoy such a magnificent pub."
The pub is also looking to hire staff, with multiple part-time roles available, including kitchen porter and front of house positions.
