MORE than 30 Traveller caravans evicted from a Northwich leisure complex have now moved near a primary school.
The large group first arrived at the Moss Farm Leisure Complex at about 9pm on Sunday night (June 19) before being served notice by police yesterday.
The Travellers were given until 11am on Tuesday to leave but they left the site early and shortly before 8.15am, they moved to a field near Rudheath Primary Academy.
Cheshire West and Chester Council are aware of the group moving on and their new location.
A council spokesman confirmed the caravans are on council-owned land and an officer will be dispatched as soon as possible to conduct an initial assessment.
