FARMERS are being given the chance get answers to any questions they have about Bovine TB at the Cheshire Show.
Dr Zara Gerrard, the senior scientific advisor to Defra TB Policy, will be at the the County Showground in Tabley on both days of the event.
Joining volunteers from the Cheshire Badger Vaccination Project (CBVP), Dr Gerrard will be speaking with farmers in person to answer their questions.
While at the CBVP stand in the Agri Centre Marquee, Dr Gerrard will also explain how vaccination along with other interventions can support farmers to control this devastating disease.
Elaine Alexander, of the CBVP, said “It is a great opportunity for local farmers to be able to speak to an expert in this area.
"With Zara being a Cheshire resident herself we are really pleased that she was able to come along and support the project and to be able to support the Cheshire farming community in person."
If you are a farmer or landowner in East or West Cheshire and are interested in knowing more about badger vaccination, you can visit the stand at the Cheshire on June 21 or June 22.
Alternatively you can e-mail elaine@cbvp.org.uk or phone or message Elaine on 07816 408617 to arrange a call or meeting.
