A DRIVER from Winsford has been banned from the roads for fleeing the scene of collision on Boxing Day last year which left a man seriously injured.
Connor O’Hare, of Montgomery Way, was driving a Mercedes AMG 35 when he was involved in a crash with a Ford Focus on A559 Chester Road, Hartford, on December 26, 2021.
A 43-year-old local man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital following the crash.
Twenty-five-year-old O'Hare did not supply his name and address and failed to report the accident at a police station within 24 hours.
Appearing in Chester Magistrates’ Court on June 6, O’Hare was also sentenced for failing to stop and driving without due care and attention.
Taking his guilty plea into account, magistrates ordered O’Hare to carry out 300 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay court costs of £85, plus a £95 surcharge.
