WHETHER it’s a simple bacon sandwich, thick cut toasted bread with butter and jam or a full English – the choice of what to have for breakfast is endless.
Do you prefer your eggs scrambled, fried or poached?
Is your sausage butty topped with ketchup or brown sauce?
Do baked beans belong on a traditional fry up?
Everyone has their favourite breakfast items but we want to know where in Northwich serves the best food to start the day.
We’ve been inundated with nominations for our Best of 2022 competition as we wanted to know which is the best hair salon, pie shop and nail salon as well as the best pub, fitness instructor and fish and chips.
Next up it’s breakfast and we need you to tell us which restaurant, café or pub provides the best breakfast in town.
It can be a sit down table service breakfast or a quick takeaway option from a roadside truck – the choice is yours!
We know there are lots of great places in Northwich to have breakfast so it will be no easy feat to choose a winner.
This is why we’ll be handing over the final decision to those who know best – our readers.
HOW IT WORKS:
Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations close each Monday morning at 12pm.
Then each Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.
You will be able to vote in one of three ways:
- By commenting under the relevant post on our Northwich Guardian Facebook page = 1 vote
- By entering via the online article on our Northwich Guardian website = 2 votes
- By entering via our Northwich Guardian newspaper = 5 votes
The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.
They will then be entered into the running for our overall Simply The Best award at the end of the competition.
Usual Newsquest competition rules apply. For more details go to newsquest.co.uk/terms
To make your nomination go to facebook.com/Northwichguardian or alternatively you can email your nomination, telling us the name of your favourite place for breakfast, where they are based and why they deserve to be shortlisted, to heidi.summerfield@newsquest.co.uk
