A CASUALTY was rescued after a crash in Sandiway yesterday evening, Tuesday, after becoming medically trapped in a vehicle.
Shortly before 8pm, firefighters attended a two-car collision in Chester Road, Oakmere.
They gave the casualty first aid before paramedics arrived.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed: “Two cars were involved in a road traffic collision leaving one casualty medically trapped in one of the vehicles.
“Firefighters administered first aid until the ambulance arrived and then rescued the casualty on a long board before handing them over to the care of the medics.”
