PRE-SCHOOL pupils have enjoyed celebrating the Queen’s upcoming Platinum Jubilee this week – including flag and crown making, a street party and even constructing their very own castle to play in.
Little Bumbles Pre-School, which is based at Eaton Primary School in Tarporley, pulled out all the stops to make sure children had fun while marking the momentous occasion.
As well as lots of activities throughout the week, they had a street party lunch with the children from the primary school.
Even the ‘Queen’ paid them a visit.
The pre-school children sang a Jubilee song they had learnt together and listened to some royal themed music.
Samantha Edge, pre-school manager and Lorraine Skellon, primary school headteacher, said: “This was such a special occasion that it needed celebrating – a piece of history for the children to enjoy and remember.”
