A DRIVER trapped after a two car crash has been rescued.
Firefighters were called to reports of a collision on New Platt Lane in Allostock at around 6.55pm on Thursday, May 26.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A Cheshire fire trauma technician gave first aid to one casualty who was then removed from the vehicle by firefighters and handed to the care of paramedics.”
The crash involved a white Hyundai and a blue Toyota Aygo.
Police say the drivers of both vehicles were treated for minor injuries.
The road was closed while recovery took place.
Two fire engines from Northwich and Middlewich attended the incident.
